"Aimee's Way is a cozy spa / clinic / studio. The small entryway greets you with beautiful canvas paintings, lush carpeting, and a small, discreet sign that reminds you to take off your shoes. Farther in are the machines and equipment that Aimee uses for her Pilates and yoga classes. I came today for a massage / facial / lymphatic drainage. Not only did I fall asleep three-quarters-of-the-super-relaxing-way-through, apparently I also snored. Nice -- and further proof of the delight of this unpretentious gem tucked into the trees.
Aimee herself is warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The massage was incredibly relaxing (not so much therapeutic for deep knots, but I came especially for the relaxation anyways) and her robe was particularly luxe. Ok, it's a tiny thing, but other, far more expensive places treat you to the entire range of luxury... and then give you a raspy terrycloth robe. Aimee truly notes the small details.
The facial was amazing and began with multiple cleansings, none of which dehydrated my dry skin. She did extractions, a mask, gentle massage, and was very liberal with her use of Sothys products. Unlike other spas, however, she never pushed them beyond showing me the bottle at one point and mentioning how much one like it might cost. I think I liked that most of all. Many estheticians don't know how to read people and quickly transition from pitching a product to a mildly interested customer to completely repulsing said customer with a hard sell. The lymphatic drainage, too, was relaxing, though much less pressure than I would have thought. It is surprising that such gentle pulses of suctioning can move the lymph fluid along. I left feeling refreshed with soft, smooth skin, and absolutely no redness. Two thumbs and all my toes up for Aimee!" – Naomi E., Santa Clara, CA, 5/16/2011
"I found Aimee earlier this year (via Yelp) and have been extremely happy with her facials and her overall help in improving my looks and body image. I've had facials and treatments at big spas, and have been to dermatologists for skin care for my rosacea, each with minor degrees of success. But Aimee's facials/ skin care advice has been the answer for me. She is very personable and caring and a great aesthetician. (She's not a high pressure product pusher either.)
Aimee's Way is a small boutique salon which is cozy, clean and relaxing. Aimee is the owner and she's given me personalized care without overtreating my skin. She takes the time to analyze my skin and talked to me about my skin care routine before she started treatment. I'd call "Aimee's Way" an elite experience at a reasonable price. Her studio is easy to get to with private parking. I've been booking facials with Aimee for 6 months and recently started pilates lessons with her too. I have been following her skin care recommendations with great success. I am happy to fit into her schedule. She's definitely worth it.

"I've been going to Aimee's Way since 2002 because of her professional conduct and skill of training. The excellent results I have received show by the knowledge of her skills. I recommend anyone to Amy who wants to get great results and the ultimate care. I highly recommend booking appointments 3 weeks in advance due to her popularity." – Wen L., San Jose, CA, 8/1/2011
"Aimee's Way is the best. I have been going to Aimee for years and always look forward to facials, lymphatic treatments as well as her wonderful attitude. Never had a problem scheduling an appointment with her and she is very accomodating. I recommend Aimee with 5 stars as she is the best!!" – Los Gatos, CA, 8/9/2011
"During the past six months, I have taken advantage of special spa offers through the Groupon and TownHog web sites. I have had facials in spas and clinics up and down the Peninsula. Three of the establishments had plastic surgeons on board. Some were run by chain spas and others were owned privately. I also went to Kaiser's cosmetic center in Los Gatos. I narrowed my search down to two individuals that run their own small companies. Now, I have happily settled in with Aimee's Way Skin and Body Care. Amy knows my skin and body needs well. Amy spent more time analyzing my skin on my first visit, than my dermatologist and plastic surgeon spent in a year. Amy loves her work and it shows. I have had 15 treatments so far and plan to continue with maintenance treatments. The treatments last a long time and are unbelievable relaxing, especially the micro current treatment. Amy has convinced me that the face fares better when it is not assaulted with surgery or harsh chemicals. I have received compliments about the glow of my skin. The greatest benefit for me was the result of the full body lymphatic drainage treatment. I have suffered with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia for over ten years. Both lymphatic drainage and acupuncture treatments have brought me so much relief. I can not believe how healthy I am feeling now. My energy level has improved and I am not having as many migraine headaches. I wish that the medical doctors could spend time getting to know their patient's needs like Amy does. Amy provides ways to improve the whole body. My favorite treatment is her LED light treament, with lymphatic drainage, and microcurrent sculpting. She knows what she is doing and in fact teaches other aestheticians out of the area, how to use the equipment and the techniques. I love the fact that Amy runs her own business and makes her own decisions. The environment she has created is tranquill and peaceful. Amy truly takes the time to find out what the client's special needs are. My treatment is individualized just for me. I highly recommend Aimee's Way Body and Skin Care." – Diane B., Morgan Hill, CA, 8/29/2010
"My wife goes here once a week and, without prompting, I had to compliment her on how even her skin tone has become! At that point she began to gush about how nice Amy was...how helpful...how diligent... etc. She's trying to talk me into going there to take pilates classes with her as well. I'm up for it! Works great on her!" – John S., Los Gatos, CA, 8/9/2010
"I received a lymphobiology treatment from Amy. I was extremely impressed with the treatment and Amy. Her knowledge about the benefits of the treatment was so thorough and informative. I feel she is a real expert in her field. Anyone dealing with a sluggish lymphatic system or wanting to aid their body in detoxing should definitely choose this treatment. Amy is very professional, warm and creates a very positive and joyful experience. I can't stress enough how much I recommend receiving this treatment from her." – jo-allyn g., San Francisco, CA, 4/24/2009
"This is the best skin care one can wish for. Aimee gives excellent skin care advice and makes my skin glow with the ATZEN products that get my skin to look healthy, even in color, and so hydrated! The products are easy to use at home which helps me be consistent. My skin has become completely normal and not sensitive anymore. Today I received a Glyco 30 peel on my hands and arms after my facial. All the bumps on my arms are gone, my elbows are smooth, and my hands look lighter and younger. I recommend this esthetician, she is a pro." – Catherine A., Los Gatos, CA, 4/23/2009
"Aimee is great with your skin care . I have had problems since years and I started seeing her few months back, and I am definitely seeing good results. And I am hooked to her Atzen products now, it spares me so much energy and time spent on looking loads of skin care products available in the market. It really gives you peace of mind to finally stick to something you know is beneficial for you. Her monthly european facials are a great way to clean and refresh your skin. And she really gives you her full attention while you are there and tries to go deep into your problem areas and she offers genuine advice. I highly recommend her if you really care for your skin and want to do the right things to get rid of any problems you may have." – kuki s., San Jose, CA, 4/3/2009
"I will never get facials from anyone but Aimee! On a daily basis I get compliments on how amazing my skin looks! Sometimes I have to take a double look because my skin really is amazing and has improved so much. I think I have better skin today at the age of 40 then I did when I was in my 30's. I live in Willow Glen and have tried EVERY spa on Lincoln Ave. I've even traveled to Pleasanton just to find a decent esthetician. I have been sadly disappointed with the quality and attention to detail and really felt like I was spending my hard earned money on mediocre facials. Over a year ago, I was having major issues with my face. I went to several estheticians followed by my doctor and was even referred to a dermatologist. I swear I must have spent at least $1000 over a 2 month period on my face. Nothing was helping and that's when I found Aimee. Aimee worked on my face for 90 minutes and in that time, I learned more about skin and the products I was using then from my dermatologist. Within a week, my skin issues were history. I started using the french "Atzen" skin care line and am hooked. I've tried several skin care lines and Atzen has really worked for me:) I love Aimee's Vitamin C facials. In addition, she uses lymphobiology which is very cool! I've also gotten the enzyme peel and the Algaederm masque. Aimee's salon is conveniently located on Curtner Ave. There is plenty of parking and her spa is tranquil. She offers a variety of other services such as facial waxing, Pilate's and body wraps. It's also super easy to schedule an appointment on-line and you will get a friendly appointment reminder. If you want a fabulous facial and are serious about your skin, head over to see Aimee. You'll love your skin!!" – Kat C., San Jose, CA, 3/27/2009
